20 Weeks.. We are halfway there!

"Mommy's tummy is growing bigger every day, and I am growing too, so it is getting harder for her to keep up with me!"

At 20 weeks, it is getting a little more difficult to keep up with Kadin. He has perfected his new-found skill of running, and he is quite fast! Sean says he must take after me!

Of course, Kadin is getting faster, and I am getting slower ... I can no longer hide that I am expecting! This makes it easier living in Japan, because some nice people still do have sympathy for pregnant women with small children. There are sections in trains and on buses where people are SUPPOSED to give up their seat for pregnant women or for the elderly. It has only happened once for me so far this pregnancy, but I am believing in the good-heartedness of the Japanese people and expecting more help now that I am obviously pregnant.

After a month in the States, and two international flights with an 18-month-old in my lap, it was such a relief upon returning to Tokyo and to see our little baby on the ultrasound all safe and sound, and obviously quite healthy. He or she is quite active! I am utterly amazed at how the Lord is knitting and forming this little one inside of me. Thank you, Lord, for allowing your daughters to take part in such a beautiful miracle!

I am still feeling good, and very thankful for that! Jogging a few times a week, swimming and practicing prenatal yoga are helping me prepare for the birth, and to stay sane now. I am always tired before I start, but, it feels so good when I finish. Thank you, Sean, for fixing Kadin's breakfast and feeding him in the mornings so that I can get some exercise!

We can't wait to find out whether this little one is a boy or a girl. My doctor said that we should be able to see on my next appointment, July 9th, so stay tuned!
