JAPAN CELL MISSION NETWORK SUMMIT
Pastors and leaders gathered from all over Japan to seek the Lord together. Watch the time of spontaneous worship and prayer that erupted from our time. How beautiful it was to see Japanese leaders and pastors, young and old, weeping together and praying for the healing of their nation. What an exciting time to be in Japan!
JAPAN CELL MISSION NETWORK PROMOTIONAL VIDEO: "WELCOME TO JCMN!"
This incredible organization provides a network for 150 churches across Japan
,
bringing pastors together for prayer, accountability and encouragement as they work to reach the harvest. In a country where church congregations are small, and where churches in general are few and far between, it is very easy for pastors to isolate themselves and try to dig into the work alone and in their own strength. Listen to the testimonies of pastors of how JCMN has helped changed the environment among churches in their areas.
The music at the beginning and end of the project, written and arranged by a Japanese worship leader, was recorded live, especially for use in this project. The song is called, "The Japan Mission Song," and it speaks of Japanese going out to reach the harvest. The original version of this project that I edited, the Japanese version, is much cleaner. Because this project has been exported at web quality, the English subtitles might be a little difficult to read in some places. I have really felt God's hand in this, and I am so grateful to have been able to play a part in this project. For a glimpse of JCMN, check out their Japanese website at

THE FIRST MISSIONARY TO JAPAN
This short documentary, edited by the JCMN office, tells of the first missionary to come to the Tokyo area in Japan. Very insightful. You might recognize the voice!
KIYOSE GRACE CHAPEL FAMILY CAMP 07
Every summer our church escapes from the heat in Tokyo to the mountains in Karuizawa for a 3-day family camp. This year, four children were baptized at our camp. This is huge in Japan! Also, as you can see on the video, this year's camp was a time of dreaming and praying together for our church's future. More than ever before, we want God's purpose to be accomplished through us as a body.
A VISIT TO THE JAPANESE COUNTRYSIDE
Fukui, Sean's "hometown" in Japan, is located on the Sea of Japan, in the area known as the "Buddhist Belt" of Japan. We visit the dear people in this area at least once a year, and we continue to pray that the light of Jesus would shine in this dark area. To read more about the small glimpses of light that we are seeing in relationships in this area,

A VERY SPECIAL BAPTISM
Mrs. Okui prayed for her husband's salvation for over 45 years! On a very moving Sunday in January 2007, Mr. Okui was baptized. There were many tears of joy in the room as we all celebrated this long-awaited event! Many women in Japan, and in our church, are still praying for the salvation of their husbands. The Okui's story has encouraged many women to keep pressing on.
THE 2007 INAUGURAL TOKYO MARATHON
On Feb. 18, 2007 30,000 runners from around the world ran in the Inaugural Tokyo Marathon, and Alice was one of them!
There are tons of races everywhere open to anybody in Japan, but this is the FIRST mass-entry city marathon in Japan that compares with the standard-setters like NYC, Boston, Chicago, etc. Nearly 100,000 people applied for 30,000 slots that were then chosen by lottery, so it was an honor to be chosen for this historic event. Even though it was 40 degrees and raining the whole race, it was an experience that Alice will never forget! To read a personal article of how God watered seeds in Alice's running partner's heart during the marathon,
